TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

Avoid non-essential travel to and from Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland, Lake Country, and Westbank First Nations lands (Central Okanagan Local Health Area)

Travel in B.C.
Recreational travel within B.C. is allowed, there are no longer travel regions in place.

From another province or territory

If you travel to B.C. from another province or territory, you do not need to self-quarantine when entering B.C. However, you must follow B.C.'s province-wide restrictions. 

From a United-States border crossing

Fully vaccinated citizens and permanent residents of the United States can enter Canada for non-essential travel. Entry into Canada will continue to be prohibited for travellers who are not fully vaccinated.

From an international destination

The Canadian border is closed to most international travelers. Find out if you can travel to Canada.

You are allowed to enter Canada if you are a:

  • Canadian citizen

  • Permanent resident of Canada

  • Temporary resident of Canada

  • Protected person (refugee status)

  • Person registered under the Indian Act

  • Foreign national with a non-discretionary (non-optional) reason to travel to Canada
